How To Find Files Downloaded on iOS

When you download files using the Safari browser on iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch, it's often not clear where to find them again. This article will show you how to locate the files on your device!

Downloads from Safari on iOS are stored in the Files app. Search for the Files app or look for the icon below on your home screen:

Depending on your Safari settings, you'll find downloaded files in a "Downloads" folder located inside either "iCloud Drive" or "On My iPhone/iPad/iPod". Safari has a hidden shortcut that lets you jump straight to the location:
