How to add a Gmail Filter to make sure you see Cosmic Journey emails

If you want to be extra certain you don't miss any email announcements about the Cosmic Journey Membership, and you're a Gmail user, this is for you.

You can create a filter in Gmail that will instruct the program to never send Saratoga's emails to spam, and always put them in your primary mailbox. Here's how to do it...

Note: currently (November 2022), you can only create filters in the web version of Gmail, not in the mobile apps.

1. In your Gmail inbox, click the search options slider icon at the right end of the search bar.
2. Under the "from" field, enter the membership email address: members@saratogaocean.com. This filter will apply to all emails sent from this address.
3. Click the "Create filter" button
4. On the next screen, choose:
   • Never send it to Spam
   • Always mark as important
   • Categorize as Primary
   • (optional) also apply to matching conversations
5. Click the blue "Create filter" button, and you're done!

It's also a good idea to add members@saratogaocean.com and telstar@saratogaocean.com to your Gmail contacts. This is an additional signal to the anti-spam system that you know and trust these addresses.
